FAQ's
If your vehicle is incapacitated (it cannot start or move), you’ll require a tow truck. If your vehicle is leaking fluids, has broken axles or windshields, or any damage is impacting your view, you shouldn’t risk driving it to our Kansas City body shop. Call 800-NEW-AGAIN and we’ll dispatch tow truck service to your location, posthaste (that means “ASAP”).
Review our “Tow or No” guidelines for more information.
In our experience, “cheap auto body repairs” mean they’re not just cheap in price, but also cheap in quality. Our free car repair estimates take into consideration not just parts and labor, but also our expertise, so you can rest assured that your vehicle is in good hands.
That being said, we take pride in offering competitive auto body repair prices in the area. If you receive a lower estimate or quote from your insurance company or another Kansas City collision repair shop near you, let us know. We will review the quote and let you know if we can match it or explain why the cheaper estimate is so cheap.
In most cases, we utilize genuine OEM car parts when making repairs. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are typically more reliable, come with better warranties and are generally higher in quality than aftermarket and LKQ (Like Kind Quality) parts.
We also refuse to replace broken components with used car parts, unless the situation is very unique—for instance, we may need to replace a component in your one-of-a-kind 1979 Chevy Corvette with a used one. If you think you’re in one of these situations, speak with a McCarthy collision repair center near you for advice.
Ah, the all-important question! Repair times vary from situation to situation. Depending on the car’s damage, your insurance company’s responsiveness, your type of vehicle, and any delays in auto part shipments, this can range from a weekend to several weeks.
Because we consider ourselves to operate some of the best auto body shops in Kansas City , we always do our best to notify customers of any delays or issues and provide estimated wait times as the process moves forward. If you have any questions, you can always ask your collision center for an update, as well.
